Lok Capital was founded in 2004. Lok (meaning "people") is an impact investor that makes investments in the finance, healthcare, food & beverages/agriculture, and climate & sustainability areas in India. The focus is on Series A+ ventures that deliver impact in an affordable, accessible and sustainable way. The Lok initiative was launched with the support of a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation.
