MYNT AI is a Silicon Valley AI and computer vision startup and their mission is to bring superhuman eyes to every robot and car. They are founded in 2014 by a group of serial entrepreneurs, computer vision scientists, machine learning experts, architects, and senior engineers from Stanford, Berkeley, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, and Baidu, including Dr. Leo Pang, and Professor Eli Yablonovitch (a Member of the National Academy of Engineering, the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Inventors, the American Academy of Arts & Sciences). It has grown into a team of hundred gurus cross US and China. MYNT has developed series of MYNTeye™ - IMU integrated structured-light stereo depth cameras, VIO and VSLAM software using its 3D cameras, and customized visual navigation and mapping solutions for service robots, vacuum bots, and ADAS. Its MYNTeye is the only type of visual sensor fusion designed for 3D obstacle avoidance, location, and mapping that works in any environment (indoor, outdoor, dark, and lack of textures). Their products and solutions have been used by numerous researchers and companies around the world in their 3D vision, robots, and autonomous cars projects.
