Meta has revealed plans to generate revenue from its proprietary generative artificial intelligence (AI) business by the end of 2023, putting the company in competition with OpenAI and Google. Although Meta has been working on AI since 2013, this is the first time the company has detailed its commercialization plans. The move could benefit AI token investors in the crypto market, which saw huge demand in Q1 2023. Meta's CTO, Andrew Bosworth, indicated the company's plans to roll out AI applications by December 2023 and said that the company is at the forefront of generative AI. Meta recently created a new team dedicated to generative AI.
