Alberto Washington--Founder of Mercury Americas Financial Partners, LLC,
and a Managing Director at Gavilan Commodities--is a well known financial
expert who has led numerous clients and companies towards financial
success and growth. Alberto is an industry leader in financial planning
and forecasting, budgeting, evaluating strategic growth initiatives, and
analyzing and implementing financial initiatives to drive business plans to
completion. He has expertise in fairness opinions, public offerings,
private placements, crowdfunding, real estate transactions,
recapitalizations, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, real estate
advisory, senior debt, mezzanine capital, equity, project finance, joint
ventures, investment banking, and business strategy.

Known for his ability to adapt when any issue is put in his path, Alberto
Washington harnesses a leadership style that has served him, his partners,
and his clients well for almost two decades. After being an Analyst at
Greenhill & Co. for a year and a half, Alberto made a career move, becoming
Global Stock Selection Vice President at AQR Capital Management. His
responsibilities there included, but were not limited to, to the portfolio
management of Long Short Market Neutral Stock Selection Hedge Funds,
Relaxed Constraints Equity Products, and Long Only Index Relative Equity
Mandates.

After spending seven years with AQR, Alberto Washington moved his expertise
to UBS Wealth Management as their Private Banking Director for Latin
America. His responsibilities included providing private banking and
investment advice to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals in
Latin America, with a focus on Mexico. Alberto also provided asset
allocation advice and investment and portfolio management to clients, using
sophisticated techniques to capture alpha in the investment markets.

Aside from his involvement with Mercury Americas and Gavilan Commodities,
Alberto Washington is a Corporate Council Board Member & Advisor at The
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, acting as a strategic business advisor
for senior management at the hospital.

Having graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a
Master of Science in systems engineering and concurrent Bachelor of Science
in economics from the School of Engineering and Applied Science and Wharton
School of Business, respectively.

If his accomplishments weren’t enough, his Alberto Washington also speaks
fluent Spanish and is a golf instructor and expert. He loves to play golf
in his spare time and spend time educating others on the game in a unique
and powerful way.

Alberto Washington’s alma mater, The University of Pennsylvania (UOP),
founded in 1740 by George Whitefield, has well over 4,600 faculty members
and a six to one student to faculty ratio. After Benjamin Franklin and a
group of leaders in the Philadelphia area bought the then evangelist George
Whitefield's building, which was originally established as a philanthropic
school and church, The Academy and Charitable School in the Province of
Pennsylvania was open to students in 1751. Today, known as the University
of Pennsylvania, UOP is one of America's top Ivy League colleges and prides
