Alexander Mankowsky was born in Berlin in 1957 and studied philosophy, psychology and sociology at the Freie Universität Berlin until 1984.After four years of professional experience in the social field, he decided to become a "Knowledge Engineer" at the "Gesellschaft für neue Berufe GNB" (founded by Daimler-Benz AG for the implementation of "Artificial Intelligence").Since 1989, Alexander Mankowsky has been working for Daimler AG in research.There, he first dealt with expert systems, knowledge management, the detection of market opportunities, and the presentation of automotive time ghost currents. This led him to his current work area "Forming Future Research" at Daimler AG in 2001. The focus of Alexander Mankowsky's work is to recognize and implement social and technical innovations for the mobility of tomorrow. To this end, he uses, among other things, Daimler's worldwide and diverse creative network.
