Dr. Miller is a Principal with PureTech Ventures and is part of the founding team for Karuna Pharmaceuticals and Tal Medical. Dr. Miller is a member of the Board of Directors of Karuna Pharmaceuticals and currently serves as the Vice President of Technology and Business Development for Karuna Pharmaceuticals and Tal Medical.

He completed his doctoral work focusing on polymeric biomaterials at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In graduate school, he was awarded the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship and completed course work at the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management. Dr. Miller received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from M.I.T.
