Andrew House has been President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) since September 2011. Working closely with Sony Corporation’s senior management, as well as business units and regional management teams, he is responsible for the development and growth of the PlayStation business globally.

Before that, Mr. House was President, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Operating Officer of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE), beginning in May 2009, and was responsible for the PlayStation business in nearly 100 territories across Europe, Africa, Australasia and the Middle East.

Mr. House served as Chief Marketing Officer and Group Executive of Sony Corporation from 2005-2009, where he had global responsibility for corporate marketing across all of Sony's businesses, with a primary emphasis on building value in the Sony brand. During his tenure, Mr. House led the effort to establish Sony’s first unified global brand message, “make.believe” (pronounced “make-dot-believe”).

In July 2002, Mr. House was appointed Executive Vice President, Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA), responsible for publisher and developer relations and overall strategic product planning. He was instrumental in the creation and execution of the marketing strategy and award-winning advertising campaigns that transformed the PlayStation brand into a household name in North America. At that time, Mr. House also served as Corporate Executive officer of SCEI.
