Andrés Marulanda joined Advent International in 2011. Previously he worked for Grupo Colpatria, a Colombian conglomerate, in its internal private equity unit. There, he co-led the firm’s investments in Colfondos Pensiones & Cesantías S.A. and Termoyopal S.A.

Prior to Colpatria, Andrés was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company in Bogotá and Booz Allen Hamilton in New York, advising leading global and Colombian clients in the telecommunications, consumer goods and insurance industries. He also worked at Unilever both in Bogotá as a trade marketing manager and New Jersey in the regional finance department.
