Arvind joined Citi Ventures as a Managing Director in January 2011 to help build the strategic venture investing program. His areas of interest include Security, Fraud, Cloud technologies, and Next Gen Financial Services. At Citi, he has led investments in Betterment, Chef, Click Security, Persado, Pindrop, Silver Tail Systems (acq by EMC), Tanium and vArmour. In addition to making and managing investments, he is deeply involved in executing partnerships with these portfolio companies.

Prior to Citi, Arvind spent nearly a decade as a Managing Director at Menlo Ventures. There, he was an investor and Board member in companies such as Kazeon Systems, Cavium Networks, Solidcore, nCircle Network Security, Intelligent Results and Vhayu Technologies. Previously, Arvind was a design engineer, and a Program Manager, in the Mobile Pentium group at Intel Corporation.

Arvind obtained his BSEE from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, an MSEE from Case Western Reserve University, and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School. He lives in Palo Alto, CA, with his wife and two sons.
