Afshin is a passionate computer scientist and researcher with focus on innovation where science and technology meet. He has years of experience in implementing heuristic optimizations and highly interactive multi-agent systems. As a Principal Researcher at the University of Calgary, he lead a team of developers in creating state of art visualizations. As an entrepreneur he was involved in development of a recommendation system for a small startup company where he pursued lean startup concepts. In 2013, Afshin co-founded InVistaWare.
