Bill works as the Chief Data Scientist at OpenMartech overseeing data science operations for clients in retail.

Bill got his Ph.D. in Mathematics at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Graduate Research Fellow for the National Science Foundation. During graduate school, he also obtained a Master's certification in computational science and engineering and interned for Caterpillar's Data Innovation Lab. Bill has published four articles in scholarly journals and has presented his research in seminars and at conferences.

Bill graduated from IUPUI in 2011 with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Physics. As an undergraduate, he performed research under Physics Professor Yogesh Joglekar in computational physics related to condensed matter theory and approximation techniques in quantum mechanics. Bill won the top undergraduate research award at IUPUI for his research with Yogesh.
