Brent Donnelly has been trading foreign exchange since 1995 and is currently a senior FX dealer at HSBC New York. He is the author of a well-known daily FX commentary called AM/FX and has experience as both a sell-side trader (HSBC, Citibank, Lehman Brothers) and as a portfolio manager at a major hedge fund in Connecticut. He has been quoted by The Economist, WSJ, Zerohedge, FT, CNBC and others. Brent was Chief Dealer at Citibank and a Managing Director and Head of NY Foreign Exchange Trading at Nomura (spot, forward, EMFX, options and e-trading) and also their Global Head of G10 Spot FX Trading. He lives in Wilton, Connecticut with his wife and two boys (Adam, 12 and Oliver, 8).
