Mr. Goodson was a member of the founding team at FlowMedica, where he developed novel drug-device combination products to address acute kidney injury.

Prior to joining FlowMedica, Mr. Goodson held various product development engineering roles at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, World Medical/Medtronic AVE, and Cordis Neurovascular. In his research position at the Cleveland Clinic, Mr. Goodson was involved with EVAR and thrombolysis device and intellectual property development within the Vascular Surgery department. In his roles at Medtronic AVE and World Medical, he was directly involved in engineering development for the Talent AAA stent grafts and delivery systems.

Mr. Goodson began his medical device career in new product development at Cordis, where he developed catheters, guide wires, and embolic products for the interventional neurovascular market.

Mr. Goodson is a named inventor on more than 15 US and foreign issued patents. He holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
