Chris Murphy is an energetic entrepreneur who is fascinated with the intersections of technology, business, and civic participation. His focus: Enhancing the ways in which digital technologies can improve our relationships and how we communicate with each other.

After seeing the explosion of video and other rich and interactive media in the consumer space, he was frustrated by the inability of the professional world to harness that same power for enterprise communications. That lead him to co-found Zoomforth, with the mission of helping large, complex organizations go beyond email and PowerPoint in being able to create stand-out digital experiences.

Zoomforth has been growing solidly since its launch in 2013, and is now empowering thousands of professionals across the globe—many of whom operate in complex and matrixed environments with significant infosecurity requirements—to create rich digital communications and microsites for both external clients and internal purposes.

Zoomforth counts among its customers industry leaders like Honeywell, Asana, and EventBrite, as well as leading professional services companies including two of the Big Four consulting firms, with use cases spanning business development, deal support, recruiting, learning & development, events marketing, and internal communications.

Chris is passionate about civic action and known to ask tough questions. He believes that businesses thrive when they look after the wellbeing of their employees, community, and customers, and that people flourish when they feel connected and recognized. To that end, he works to build community, promote diversity, and push back against social injustice as it manifests in the everyday lives of people at every level of society.
