Dan Morehead founded Pantera Capital Management LP in 2003. He also co-founded and was CEO of Atriax, an electronic foreign exchange platform. Prior to that, he was head of macro trading and CEO at Tiger Management, global head of FX options at Deutsche Bank in London, and managed a global macro fund and derivatives trading units in North America and Japan at Bankers Trust. Dan began his career at Goldman Sachs as a mortgagebacked securities trader. Dan graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and received the Carmichael Prize for an outstanding thesis. Pantera Capital is an institutional investment firm focused exclusively on Bitcoin, other digital currencies and companies in the space. As CEO of Pantera Capital, Dan is actively involved in providing investors exposure to Bitcoin in addition to digital currency startups.
