He has graduate degrees in computational linguistics and business, plus more than 20 years of front-line experience in the software industry. Previously he served as Chief Architect at Adaptive Computing, which makes software to manage the biggest supercomputers on the planet.

Before Adaptive, he served as Chief Architect at Perfect Search, which provides ultra-performant, massively scalable solutions for big data in the medical and pharmaceutical space. Hardman also founded and sold a social media company (ourstory.com). He is also a prolific blogger and a published novelist.
