David has over thirty years of experience as an entrepreneur and/or financier of entrepreneurial companies. After graduate school, David started his professional career as a Division Controller of MiniScribe Corporation in Longmont Colorado and worked for MiniScribe, a disk drive manufacturing and distribution company, in various corporate finance capacities until the Company was purchased by Maxtor Corporation in 1990. In 1991, David co-founded ECOMED, Inc., a medical device company in Indianapolis Indiana where he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer until the firm was sold to Steris Corporation in 1996. In 1998, David co-founded COMMAND Equity Group, which was a boutique venture capital management firm, and has ten years’ experience investing in early stage technology companies. David joined ENVISAGE in 2003 and led the initial capitalization, and is responsible for the Company’s financial direction, strategic planning and business development.
