Dr. Hsia is a co-founder of Watson Pharmaceuticals, a publicly traded company listed in New York Stock Exchange (ticker: WPI). He was formerly Senior Vice President of Scientific Affairs of Watson Pharmaceuticals before his retirement.

Dr. Hsia was formerly on the Kinex board before he retired in 2011. A veteran of the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Hsia was involved in the development of multiple pharmaceutical formulations for over twenty years.

Dr. Hsia received a Ph.D. in Industrial and Physical Pharmacy from Purdue University.
