David B. Nash, M.D. was initially elected to the Board in December 2009, effective January 1, 2010. He is the founding dean of the Jefferson College of Population Health, located on the campus of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, having taken that position in 2008. Previously, Dr. Nash was the Chairman of the Department of Health Policy of the Jefferson Medical College from 2003 until 2008. Dr. Nash also serves on the Board of Directors of Vestagen Specialty Textiles, and the medical advisory board of Medivo, Inc., and previously served on the boards of Itrax Corporation and InforMedix.

Dr. Nash is internationally recognized for his work in outcomes management, medical staff development and quality-of-care improvement; his publications have appeared in more than 100 articles in major journals. He also has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Catholic Healthcare Partners in Cincinnati, Ohio.
