David Steinberger is the co-founder and CEO of comiXology, the revolutionary cloud-based digital comics platform that features content from Marvel, DC and 75 top comic book and graphic novel publishers. The comiXology platform includes a top ten grossing iPad app, as well as iPhone, Android, Kindle Fire and Windows 8 apps, and a web store and reader at www.comixology.com. He designed comiXology’s Guided View, the reading technology that transforms the comic book medium into an immersive and cinematic experience and defines the digital comic experience. A long time comic fan and passionate entrepreneur, David’s inspiration for comiXology was shaped at the NYU – Stern’s 2007 Business Plan competition while he pursued his MBA. David also holds a Masters degree from Manhattan School of Music, and an Advanced Certificate from The Juilliard School. David’s currently reading Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness from IDW Publishing.
