David Wei is the Vice President of Sequoia Capital China. He focuses on investment in cleantech and manufacturing sectors. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 2010, Mr. Wei worked at Suzhou Trust and Suzhou Venture Group, with his main focus given to investment in growth-stage domestic companies in clean technology, equipment manufacturing, new materials and automobiles industries. During this period, he led the investment in Victory Precision (SZ：002426), Jiuding New Material (SZ：002201) and Dewei New Material (passed the review). In addition, Mr. Wei has 10 years of work experience in mechanical automation technology and management in Dongfeng Motor Corporation. Mr. Wei received his MBA ands his bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
