Dominique Guinard is a co-founder and the chief technology officer of EVRYTHNG, the Internet of Things Smart Products Platform that connects any consumer product to the Web, and manages real-time data to drive applications. He is also a co-founder of WebofThings.org. Prior to that, he worked at MIT Auto-ID Labs, SAP, Auto-ID Labs Zurich, and Sun Microsystems.

Guinard holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science. Later on, he obtained a PhD from ETH Zurich. He was listed 5th amongst the top 100 IoT thinkers by Postscapes. Early in 2012, his PhD research was granted the ETH Medal.
