Ms. Elizabeth R. Gile, also known as Betsy, serves as a Managing Director and Senior Strategic Advisor at BlueMountain Capital Management L.P. Ms. Gile has more than 25 years in the credit and loan markets to help drive BlueMountain's client and investor relations, internal professional development, and talent acquisition efforts. Ms. Gile joined BlueMountain Capital Management on June 18, 2007 after two years of retirement. She served as Managing Director and Global Head of Deutsche Bank AG's loan exposure management group, where she built a team to manage the bank's USD80bn commercial loan portfolio by using capital market instruments and derivatives to reduce the volatility of financial results.

She spent 24 years at JP Morgan, where she was active in the North American credit origination and risk management business, responsible for areas such as high-grade credit markets trading, credit portfolio management, corporate lending, and credit research. Ms. Gile has been a Director of KeyCorp since March 2010. She serves as a Director of Deutsche Bank Trust Corporation and Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas.

Her interests outside of her professional career include a range of roles in the not-for-profit world, including membership on the Investment Committee of the Board of Scenic Hudson, a nature and conservancy group, and her involvement with the Brooklyn Kindergarten Society, which provides early childhood education programs in low-income neighborhoods.

Ms. Gile holds a B.A. in Government and History, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude, from Dartmouth College.
