Eric Filipek is a Managing Director with Kennet Partners. Kennet is a leading international growth equity firm that supports entrepreneurial technology businesses with expansion capital to accelerate growth and build exceptional shareholder value.
Since 2000, Eric has led Kennet’s investment efforts in vertical software and enterprise SaaS businesses. Before joining Kennet, Eric was a Principal at Broadview, a leading mid-market M&A advisory firm. Prior to joining Broadview in 1994, Eric worked as a product marketing engineer at Intel Corporation. He has a BS degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Eric is a board member of ThinkHR (HR SaaS); Conversica (AI-based sales and marketing SaaS); KEMP Technologies (software-based Application Distribution Controller); and Impartner (Partner Relationship Management SaaS). Former boards include: Recommind (e-discovery software company, acquired by OpenText); Schoolwires (K12 SaaS, acquired by Blackboard); Netpro (systems management software, acquired by Quest Software); Consul Risk Management (compliance software, acquired by IBM) and Aarohi (storage chip vendor, acquired by Emulex).
