Gabe Leydon has been called “the man on the Iron Throne of gaming.” Under his direction as co-founder and CEO, Machine Zone has changed the face of mobile gaming with Game of War — Fire Age, an immersive parallel chat-speak game that translates more than 32 languages, allowing global players to play at the same time. It has been among the top-grossing games since its launch in 2013, eclipsing even Candy Crush and Clash of Clans; to promote it, Leydon created a Super Bowl ad starring supermodel Kate Upton, which is still being talked about. Prior to co-founding Addmired, he spent seven years in the coin-op arcade business at Atari, Tsunami Visual and Global VR, and before that, he designed the America’s Army arcade game, the first arcade game for the U.S. Army.
