George is a co-founder and Managing Director of New York-based investment firm Altaris Capital Partners, LLC, a minority shareholder in Minnetronix. Focused exclusively on the healthcare industry, Altaris invests in businesses that meet clearly defined healthcare needs and leverages its extensive industry knowledge and relationships to accelerate growth and value appreciation.Prior to the formation of Altaris, George held various positions in Merrill Lynch’s private equity and healthcare investment banking groups.

He received a Masters in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and investigated the metabolism of bovine prion protein for his research dissertation at the Università di Padova, Italy. In addition to serving on the Minnetronix Board of Directors, George serves on the Board of Overseers of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and as a trustee of the Senator Foundation.
