Dr. Jordan has over 27 years of experience in the medical industry with a strong background in vascular disease, oncology and gastroenterology. He has served on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations and is currently serving on the boards of four medical device companies.Dr. Jordan served as a Group President at C.R. Bard for five years where he had operating responsibility for the company's global oncology businesses including the gastroenterology business, geographic responsibility for Canada, Australia, Latin America & Asia Pacific, and functional responsibility for all of Bard's research and development. Dr. Jordan retired from Bard in 2002.Prior to this position, Dr. Jordan was President of Bard Access Systems for seven years, where he grew global sales significantly through internal growth and a series of technology and business acquisitions. He joined Bard as Vice President of Research and Development for the cardiovascular products business, USCI. In this role, he had responsibility for all aspects of product development and various research projects. Prior to joining Bard, Dr. Jordan spent 10 years at American Cyanamid. After several years in pharmaceutical research and development at the Lederle Laboratories he moved to the device side of the business as Director of Product Development for the Davis and Geck business.Dr. Jordan holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and an MBA in Marketing from Farleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck, N.J.
