Dr. Lam is a practicing pharmacist licensed in multiple states and brings her deep experience to PipelineRx. For over 12 years, she has been a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the Veteran Administration’s Jesse Brown Medical Center in Chicago. There, she leads a pharmacist-run general medicine clinic for chronic disease management, acts as Principal Investigator for a number of research protocols, serves on the Urology Advanced Clinic Access Committee, and participates as a voting member of the Collaborative (University of Chicago, Northwestern University) Investigational Review Board. She has been an Assistant professor at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Illinois, and also has worked as a contract pharmacist for various hospitals in the Chicago area and as a Pharmacist with Walgreens, giving her a unique understanding of pharmacy department challenges and operations. Prior to obtaining her Doctorate degree in Pharmacy, Mrs. Lam was a pharmacy technician and a laboratory technician with Rush-Presbyterian-St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
