Mr. Steyn is a Partner at Catterton Partners.

Prior to joining Catterton, he was a Principal in Bain Capital's venture capital and growth equity funds. During his 8 years at Bain Capital, he originated, evaluated and monitored transactions across a range of stages of companies from early-stage through growth equity and leveraged buy-outs. Prior to Bain Capital, he worked at McKinsey & Company.

Mr. Steyn earned an A.B. magna cum laude in Social Studies from Harvard College, and received his M.B.A. with honors from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
