Jarrett has run both retail and institutional businesses, both in brokerage and banking, online and off. He has lived and worked in Tokyo, Hong Kong, London and New York. Jarrett was co-founder and CEO of TIR Securities, a global institutional stock broker, which was subsequently sold to E*TRADE.

There, Jarrett had a number of roles. As Chief Brokerage Officer, he took E*TRADE Financial from losses to sustained profitability. As President and Chief Operating Officer, he was responsible for building the premier online financial services franchise and delivering five record years of customer growth and earnings.

In May 2008, Jarrett founded Bendigo Partners, an operationally orientated venture capital and advisory firm seeking to fill the need for hands-on operational know-how in the financial services market place.
