Jason has worked in the sports betting industry for the last 18 years. He started working in the industry in 1999, for “TheRX,” the first sports handicapping information website/forum on the internet. As the first MMA Handicapper on the sports handicapping forums — and the only one for some time — Jason was a pioneer in the field.Jason comes from a storied legacy through his apprenticeship to other legends in the industry. The original owner of TheRX, Ken Weitzner, started his own career as a runner for the best sports handicapper in Las Vegas history, Billy Walters. When Ken opened his revolutionary website, he recognized Jason’s skills, and took him under his wing. Ken not only helped Jason improve on his handicapping abilities, but also introduced him to many influential contacts in the industry. When TheRX was sold, Jason continued his career in the sports handicapping industry by becoming a beta tester for SportsBookReview (SBR) on their mySBR / SBROdds product. He then opened his own website, which, in only 2 years, became the fourth ranked sports handicapping website in the world (only behind Covers, SBR, and TheRX). Jason also had several years experience working on the “other side of the counter” as an MMA/Boxing Oddsmaker and consultant for a large offshore sportsbook in Costa Rica.In 2008, Jason closed his sports handicapping forum, which in it’s time, helped many handicappers get paid, by mediating disputes between the customer and the Sportsbook. After Jason closed the site, he moved to Las Vegas to focus his career as a full time professional sports handicapper. Around this time he recognized the power of social media to reach whole audiences at once. He maintains a Twitter account which he uses to give back to the handicapping community, by providing numerous winners completely free of charge.
