Jasper Lau is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of 8090 Partners, a private partnership of 20 industry-leading families and entrepreneurs. Seeded by a multi-billion dollar family office, he launched 8090 to invest in growth-stage technology companies and other opportunistic transactions. Today, he directs 8090’s strategy and investment decisions for the firm’s families, representing $160 billion dollars of wealth across 25 industries.

Prior to founding 8090, he was a founding member and first hire of Class 5 Global, a SF-based venture capital fund that invests in emerging markets. Investments include Beam Mobility, Ziina, TrueHome, Homebase, Nomad, and others. He became a Venture Partner in 2020. Jasper is currently an Advisor at Ozmen Ventures, the private investment office for the Nevada-based Ozmen family that owns Sierra Nevada Corporation (“SNC”), a global multi-billion dollar national security contractor in aerospace, space, and defense. Prior to that, he built a private investment office for one of Asia's leading families in construction building materials.
