As VP, Client & Partner Solutions, Jim leads the team that manages Foursquare’s agency, brand and partner relationships for the company's measurement and data solutions.Jim has been a catalyst for growth across a number of start-ups with successful exits. Prior to Foursquare, Jim was Placed's SVP of Strategy & Operations where he was instrumental in scaling the business resulting in their acquisition by Snap, Inc. Prior to Placed/Foursquare, Jim was COO at Sparq, a pioneer in the mobile app deep-linking space that was acquired by Yahoo!. And, in the early internet days, Jim spent 10 years at Avenue A / Razorfish, a division of aQuantive. aQuantive went public in 2000 and was ultimately acquired by Microsoft in 2007 for $6B. Over his career, Jim has guided his companies' relationships with many of the world’s most well-known brands including Disney, Nike, Apple, Microsoft, McDonalds, T-Mobile, and MillerCoors.Jim holds a B.A and M.B.A from the University of Washington and resides on Mercer Island, WA with his wife and three boys.
