Joel Meriwether is the VP of Finance at Weave, where he has been critical in taking the company through its last four rounds of equity, raising over $140M. He joined Weave in early 2015 operating as its interim CFO and establishing strategic focus on performing against SaaS metrics and industry benchmarks. In addition to running the FP&A and Financial Reporting teams, he sits on Weave’s Business Intelligence Committee, and its HIPAA Compliance Committee. Joel joined Weave with over 7 years of finance/accounting experience. Leading as a Director of Finance position in the SaaS industry and specializing in software revenue recognition and inventory accounting at Grant Thornton in his role as a financial statement auditor.

Joel graduated from the University of Utah with a Master of Accounting. At the University he was a part of Beta Alpha Psi, an international honors organization for financial information students and professionals, and graduated Cum Laude with high honors.
