As an active player in the startup scene in the Nordics, Joen also helps with sourcing and the evaluation of new investment opportunities.Fostered in a family-owned enterprise environment with deep understanding of the dynamics of family controlled businesses, Joen has 15+ years experience in the media and Internet sectors in both Europe and Asia. Joen has held senior positions with Bertelsmann and the Bonnier Group in New York, Scandinavia and China. Joen holds a Masters degree in Science (M.Sc) from the Stockholm School of Economics and is based in London.Joen lived in China for eight years and while his Mandarin is OK, his acting was apparently better – making his silver screen debut in a Chinese arthouse movie ‘Short Capitalism’ which premiered at the 2015 Art Basel fair in Hong Kong.
