Jörg Diewald is Chief Commercial Officer of solarisBank (since September 2018). With over 25 years of experience in banking, Diewald is an expert in the development and expansion of commercial organizations in the banking as well as fintech sector.Prior to joining solarisBank, he was CCO of Targo Commercial Finance AG and, among other things, was active on the advisory board of the Berlin fintech company Billie.

Mr. Diewald began his career with Commerzbank and thereafter occupied a variety of executive positions, among others at Dresdner Bank and Landesbank Sachsen. Since 2007, he was board member and CCO for Germany and Benelux at GE Capital Bank AG, which belongs to the General Electric Group. In addition to his commercial responsibility, his further point of focus was on the development of fintech cooperation projects in Germany as well as national and international joint ventures. As a member of the board, Mr. Diewald was also responsible for further developing the product landscape as well as for Tech and Operations. In addition to his commercial expertise, he therefore also brings a high level of tech affinity to solarisBank.
