John D. Correnti is the Executive Chairman of Silicor Materials.

Mr. Correnti, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Steel Development Company LLC, joined the Silicor Materials Board of Directors as chairman in 2010.

He has nearly forty years of operations, management, and board experience in the steel industry, serving at both large and small companies.

He was a pioneer in the re-birth of the U.S. steel industry in 2003, founding SeverCorr, where as president and CEO he grew the company to more than $1 billion in annual revenues in just five years by utilizing low-cost mini mills to produce low-cost, high-quality steel used in the automotive and building industries.

Mr. Correnti also served as chairman and CEO of Birmingham Steel.
