John Zei was President & CEO of Knowles Electronics LLC from 2000 to 2009 and Senior Advisor to Knowles in 2010 until his retirement.

While at Knowles Mr. Zei directed a highly leveraged and faltering electronics business through a period of restructuring, refinancing and product development, leading to a highly successful sale in 2005, recovering full value for all stakeholders.

After Knowles was acquired by Dover, Inc. Mr. Zei increased sales and profitability driven by introduction of disruptive technology.

Mr. Zei the development and commercialization of innovative MEMS based microphone which quickly grew to a 30% share of the mobile phone market.

Prior to joining Knowles Mr. Zei grew several companies in the hearing health care segment to market leading positions, including serving as CEO of Siemens Hearing Instruments for ten years prior to joining Knowles.

Mr. Zei has B.S and J.D. degrees from Loyola University, Chicago and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

He currently serves as a consultant and Director for several companies.
