Julia joined NEA in 2014 as an Associate on the Technology Investing Team in Menlo Park. Prior to NEA, Julia was an Analyst with Morgan Stanley’s Technology Investment Banking Group in New York. While at Morgan Stanley, Julia worked on a variety of M&A and capital markets transactions, primarily focusing in the software and internet spaces with companies such as EMC, Infor, Varonis, Etsy, Blackboard, and Rosetta Stone. Julia’s previous work experiences also span roles at Wells Fargo, the Federal Reserve, and the New York Times.Julia graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with majors in finance and comparative literature, and a minor in Chinese.
