Julie Richardson is a senior advisor of Providence. Prior to becoming a senior advisor in 2012, she was a managing director of Providence. Before joining Providence in 2003, she served as vice chairman of J.P. Morgan’s investment banking division and chairman of the firm’s telecommunications, media and technology group. Prior to this, she was a managing director at Merrill Lynch. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and spent a year studying finance at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Ms. Richardson serves on the executive committee of the board of directors of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York.
