Knowledge of networking protocols (IP stack, OSI model), routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), redundancy and high availability protocols, loop prevention protocols.
Familiar with following vendor’s hardware: Juniper, CISCO, EXTREME Networks, HP, Alcatel 7750, Alvarion WiMax BS/SU. Including Core level equipment.
Skills to deploy and maintain Linux servers. Server virtualization with VMware ESXI.
Monitoring software, logging software, asset management software. Setup, maintenance
and support of all above during product’s life time.
