Luc-Olivier is currently on the Board of Directors (BoD) of Crocus Nanoelelectronics, the Russian arm of Crocus Technology SA. He was a BoD member of Xtellus until the company was acquired by Oclaro in December 2009. He is also on the BoD of Neode SA, the Science and Technology Park of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, and of a number of high tech companies, such as Seyonic, Optilux, Starloc, Innoparc in the US and Switzerland. He is a BoD Observer of Crocus Technology SA, France, and SBA Materials, US.Over the last 30 years, Luc-Olivier accumulated extensive experience in building, developing and managing companies in high tech industries. He co-founded several companies including Eurosil, nCHIP, SVISION, Hana Microdisplay Technologies, and served in various executive positions as Chairman, Board Member, and General Manager. He was part of the executive team of Integrated Device Technology, which accelerated its growth after a successful IPO in the 80’s.Luc obtained his Master of Science in Physical Engineering from the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland (EPFL), and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Engineering Science from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
