Marcelino Herrera Vegas is the current general manager for MercadoLibre in Colombia. He joined the company in 2000 in the commercial area of ​​MercadoLibre in Argentina, where he served as Business Analyst until 2004. He was promoted to Sales Manager for Latin America in 2008. In this task, was responsible MercadoLibre commercial teams in each of the countries and the corporate sales team based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In 2011 he was appointed Product Manager of MercadoLibre in which post overseeing development teams that were responsible for all site-related projects. In 2012 it moved to Colombia, where MercadoLibre is appointed as the new general manager of the company in the country.
