Matthew Fust was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Onyx Pharmaceuticals from January 2009 through the acquisition of the company in October 2013.

From May 2003 to December 2008, Matthew served as Chief Financial Officer of Jazz Pharmaceuticals. From 2002 to 2003, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Perlegen Sciences.

Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ALZA Corporation, where he was an executive from 1996 through the acquisition of the company in 2001. From 1991 until 1996, Matthew was a member of Andersen Consulting’s healthcare strategy practice.

He received a B.A. from the University of Minnesota and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
