While living on Maui for 13 years, Melody was the Director of Sales of a global body product company that she founded in Hawaii. After over 11 years in the skincare industry, she decided to move to the IT mecca of Austin, Texas, and begin her second career based on her passion to gain a deeper understanding of security and technology. Melody has had diverse technical roles while working for prominent companies in the IT industry and has acquired a specialized set of skills.

From her years of experience running her own highly successful company, as well as the consultative nature of her roles in IT, Melody has a very unique insight to the challenges organizations face from the top down. Melody has been working in the healthcare industry throughout the past 10 years, both with Fortune 50 -1000 organizations and smaller institutions throughout the Central Region. She thoroughly enjoys the distinct challenges that healthcare organizations face and works closely with them to build better security, privacy and compliance programs.

Melody is a proud mom to two amazing children and loves to spend time enjoying the outdoors, eating exotic food abroad and challenging her mind by furthering her education.
