Prior to joining Sony, Michael served as Vice President, Business Development for Launch Media. He was part of the core team that grew the online music media company from start-up through IPO and ultimately to its acquisition by Yahoo! Prior to Launch, he was a Marketing Manager for The ABC Television Network. In 1995, he started his career as an entrepreneur in Prague, Czech Republic, where he founded Velvet Magazine, the first English-language city magazine in Central & Eastern Europe.Michael received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from The University of the South, Sewanee, TN.During his time at Kin Community, Michael has lectured at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University, USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism and UCLA Anderson School of Business.
