Partha Dutta holds the position of Principal Advisor – Business Intelligence within the Information Systems and Technology division of Rio Tinto. In this role, he helps the Rio Tinto businesses with strategies and solutions in Dig Data and Analytics. Previously, Dr. Dutta held positions of the Chief of Analytics R&D and an Analytics technical specialist in Rolls-Royce with significant exposure to the aerospace and marine industries. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southampton, UK, and contributes actively to research and innovation including patents and scientific publications.
