Rainer Basler has been a member of the executive management team of mobile security since October 1st, 2014 and since December 1st, 2016 he is head of sales Europe and head of global solution sales and business development.

Basler began his professional career in 1993 as developer in Lauf/Nuernberg. The following year he moved to AKDB as product manager for hospital information systems. He took over responsibility for sales and project management in 1995. In 1998 he moved to Schmidtbank, a privately owned regional retail bank; in charge for outsourcing business with other banks. He joined Accenture in 2002 as a manger driving outsourcing business within the financial institutions segment. In 2006 he joined Wincor Nixdorf where he held different sales functions. In 2009 he was appointed Head of Private and Business banks in Germany, responsible for all business activities with these customers. Since joining G&D in 2014 he helps banks transforming their business into the digital world with secure solutions and intelligent services based on G&Ds broad portfolio.
