Richard is responsible for supporting Ryan in managing its legal affairs, including client engagement management, complex issue resolution, regulatory and government affairs, confidentiality practices, and intellectual property protection.

He is a licensed attorney in the state of Arizona and has more than 20 years of experience in tax and commercial litigation. Richard founded a number of successful companies, including a law firm and a tax software business. He is the co-inventor of a patented software system and the recipient of the Smithsonian Institute 21st Century Award.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Arizona State University, a Master of Taxation degree from Golden Gate University, and a Master of Laws degree from Arizona State University School of Law.
