Rosa Thomas is Sr. Software Development Manager at Amazon and AWS, She was a Principal Program Manager at Microsoft and has been with the company since 2002. She was responsible for the Microsoft Azure Marketplace and platform. The Microsoft Azure Marketplace is an online market for buying and selling premium curated data and applications from Microsoft and third parties across public, commercial and social domains, surfaced via integrated consumption experiences for easy data discovery, exploration, and purchase. She has held many positions at Microsoft. Rosa Thomas has held many positions at Microsoft in the areas of Xbox SmartGlass, Windows Azure Active Directory, Office 365 Authentication, and Information Protection Services. She graduated from Syracuse University with a dual degree in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Ms. Thomas is an active member of the Computer Science and Engineering Industry Advisory Board at CalPoly (San Luis Obispo), and is currently pursuing a masters of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington (Seattle).
